Francine Prose is the author of over twenty books, most notably, Blue Angel, a finalist for the National Book Award; Household Saints, which was adapted into a film; and The Glorious Ones, which was made into a musical performed at Lincoln Center. James Aronson Awards for Social Justice Journalism

Hunter has been giving the James Aronson Award for Social Justice Journalism since 1990. Winners are chosen for “ambitious reporting, vivid writing and clear-eyed focus on the American ideal of justice for all.” The winners will discuss their work at the awards ceremony. FREE.
