What’s In Your Bag?Danielle Jude Langlois
Clockwise: Kindle in case, notebook, notebook with Whitney Museum Guide, Hamlet by William Shakespeare, A Treatise of Human Nature by David Hume, folder, folder, two Moleskin notebooks, The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner. It was great as a fellow writer to take a peek into what Josh was carrying around in his bag, to and from school. Like many of our past “bag revealers”, Josh agrees that having an e-book, especially as a student, is beneficial. He claims they are more convenient, money-saving, and enable him to read more often. Josh is a cultured guy, checking out artwork at the Whitney, but he also went for an assignment requiring him to find a piece of art to inspire a poem for his writing workshop. As well as a few books, Josh carries around multiple notebooks to write in, as he is preparing a portfolio for his MFA application.
